How do I create my workspace?

Sign up with your business email, confirm your account, and AxisTrade provisions your workspace automatically. You'll be guided through naming your business, setting your currency, and adding your first branch.

How do I add branches and staff?

From your admin dashboard, open Settings → Branches to add a new location. Each branch has its own team, day sessions, and reports. Invite staff by email and assign them a role (owner, manager, or cashier).

What information do I need before starting?

Have your business name, your branches' physical addresses, the names and emails of staff you want to invite, and your operating currency ready. You can always change these later.

Daily Operations

Open the day, record sales, handle returns, and sync across branches.

How does the daily session work?

Each branch opens a new day session when trading begins. Staff record sales, returns, and expenses against that session. At end-of-day, the session is closed and the numbers are locked into an authoritative daily close report.

Can I record sales offline?

Yes. AxisTrade is mobile-first and supports offline entry. Transactions are queued locally and sync automatically when your device reconnects.

How are returns and refunds handled?

Returns are recorded against the original sale where possible, which keeps your net balance accurate. Standalone refunds are supported for cases where the original transaction is outside the current session.

What is a daily close report?

The daily close is AxisTrade's authoritative end-of-day summary for a branch: total sales, returns, expenses, and net balance. Once closed, the report is immutable — this is what you hand to your accountant.

Can I see numbers across all branches?

Yes. Owners and admins can view consolidated reports across every branch in the workspace, with filters by date range, branch, and session status.

How do I export reports?

Any report can be exported as CSV from the reports view. Scheduled email exports are on the roadmap for paid plans.

Account Management

Billing, roles, security, and managing your subscription.

How does billing work?

After your free trial, you can continue on a paid plan billed monthly through Paystack. You can change plans, pause, or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing.

What roles are available?

Owner (full access and billing), Admin (workspace management without billing), Manager (branch-level admin), and Cashier (day-to-day sales entry). Roles are assigned per user from Settings → Team.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Open your profile settings, choose Security, and enable 2FA using any standard authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy). We strongly recommend owners and admins enable this.
